Ode to the veggie...


I wanted to draw your attention this week to a magazine that the Library has purchased this year called Vegetarian Times. This is a great magazine and would be a perfect check-out for springtime reading. Just for vegetarians... no, not at all. In fact, if you are at all interested in healthy living, then you'll enjoy this magazine. Not only does it feature easy, delicious recipes in every magazine such as this month's Fettucine Alfredo with seared portobellos or Chocolate shortbread cookies (mmm.... ), it's also a great source on everything eco or bio friendly from non-toxic household cleansers to body lotions, shampoos, and gardening tips. You can visit the VT website for recipe indexes, article archives, interesting blogs and simple ways that you can help preserve the environment. Every issue is well worth the read.
