Fall is definately here.

It seems like all of a sudden it's perpetually chilly outside an leaves are dropping everywhere. Fall is here, and with it the desire to be indoors where it's warm, a hot drink in hand and some quality relaxing time. If you haven't been to the Library in a while, we do have some comfy new chairs, a fireplace, and plenty of reading materials. If you can't imagine having the time between all your school work to squeeze in a bit of extra reading, bring your school books, sit in front of the fire with a cup of cider and put your feet up.
We've been adding some more great DVD's to our collection over the summer and Fall. They are perfect to take a break from your studies and relax with. We've also added several that are excellent if you are just curious or for research. I'd like to highlight a couple that I think are well worth watching. Recently we added Howard Zinn's You can't be Neutral on a moving Train to our collection. For all you Zinn fans this is a must see, and if you don't know who he is then it is a must see as well. Another wonderful film that everyone should watch is His Holiness the Dalai Lama speaks on peace and prosperity. Both of these are about an hour and you will really enjoy them. Another movie that we added over the summer that can't be missed is the miniseries John Adams. Starring Laura Linney and Paul Giamanti, this mini-series earned 13 Emmy wins and many other awards and nominations.
Make sure and take some time to enjoy this fall season, and we hope to see you soon.
