What you've been reading
Generally this blog is full of recommendations and suggestions. This month, as summer is drawing to a close and the next school year is looming in the distance, I thought that I would do something new. So, we are going to talk about what you've been reading instead. The most popular check-outs this summer have been limited to a couple of authors. The first being Stephanie Meyers who came out with two new books over the summer. "Breaking Dawn," the fourth book in her Twilight series is available and hasn't been in the Library more than a day since we got it. The first three books in the series are well-liked by everyone who reads them as well. Stephanie Meyers other new book, "The Host" has gotten rave reviews by our students. If you haven't had the chance yet, come in and check them out.
Another author who has been keeping you entertained this summer is Nicholas Sparks. His books "The Choice," "The Wedding," "Message in a bottle" and "True believer" have been your favorites. Another of his books, "Nights in Rodanthe" you've also like and in case you haven't heard yet is being released in a couple of weeks as a movie. The movie looks like it will be a good one, starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane. I highly recommend checking out the book, as there's just enough time to read it before the going to the theater.
Other popular check-outs this summer...
Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz
Skeleton man by Tony Hillerman
Honeymoon, Cross, and Double Cross by James Patterson
Duma Key by Stephen King
The yearling by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings
Black wind by Clive Cussler
Angels fall by Nora Roberts
The last time they met by Anita Shreve
and Cause of Death by Patricia Cornwell
Hopefully one of these inspires you, but if not come and see us anyway. We have much more to choose from. Take it easy.
